Agios Spyridon Aghios Spiridon resort North Corfu Greece
Location & General info: Agios Spiridon is situated at the north-east corner of Corfu and has an attractive wild sandy beach, set in a charming bay with sand, rocks and emerald waters. Agios Spiridon is known in the North East of Corfu as a nature reserve. The reserve is just a short walk or drive along from the beaches. There are many butterflies and wild flowers and the fish swim up the canal and lay there eggs here. Behind the resort, there is a small freshwater lake with wildlife and behind it; there are some smaller, even quieter beaches. It is a great place for those looking for a quiet spot. Other resorts near by are Acharavi (about 6 minutes drive) and Kassiopi (about10 min drive)
How to get there: From Corfu town, following the signs to Acharavi. After passing Acharavi, stay on the main road to Kassiopi, until you see the sign on the left for Agios Spiridon. Turn down here and follow the road to the supermarket go past this continuing on the road untill you see, and ..smell the sea

Boat Rental: No boat rental here.
Water Sports: Pedals and canoes are available on the first beach for hire, the nearest water-ski centre is at Acharavi.
Exchange: There is a tourist shop next to the supermarket.
Public Swimming Pool: On the left of the road as you go down to the beach there is a pool bar open to the public free use of the pool if you purchase a drink.
Telephone: One telephone near the first Tavern on the beach.
Children's Facilities: This beach is excellent for children.
Disabled Facilities: None the beach is slightly down hill. No disabled toilets.
Bars: There is a beach bar also serving snacks.
Sun beds: Sun beds and umbrellas are available to hire.
Facilities: There are showers, toilets and changing areas available.
Child Suitability: The main beach here is very child friendly the waters are shallow and the beach is sandy. There is though a small lane above the beach where the cars park.
Accessibility: Spiridon beach itself is flat although there is a little incline down to the first beach. To drive or walk down to the resort from the main road is fairly flat.
Cleanliness and Urchins: There are no urchins on the main beaches, and although Agios Spiridon is a blue flag beach it’s not very clean, and definitely, needs sanitary improvements.
Tavernas: Agios Spiridon has three taverns all serving fish and Greek cuisine.
