Located on the west cost of the island 35 minutes from Corfu Town, Agios Gordios is considered as one of the most popular Corfu beaches. An extensive sandy beach, its main feature is Ortholithi, a rock which soars from the sea at the southern corner of the Bay. The natural beauty of the locality attracts many visitors and it boasts lorge hotels and smaller complexes, constructed in harmony with the surroundings, as well as numerous restaurants and bars. A frequent bus service links the beach with Corfu City, allowing easy access.

The beach in Agios Gordios gets really crowded mostly because the area hosts the popular Pink Palace Hotel which attracts many American and Canadians students. The resort has a few friendly disco/ bars, to spend your night out.

A bus over to Corfu Town and from Corfu runs about every one hour.
