Corfu may be the biggest island around, nevertheless, there are many smaller ones worth seeing when visiting Corfu.

 

Within 10 minutes from the old dock, you can find yourself visiting Vidos – an islet where you can have a meal in its tavern and bathe in its crystal blue waters. There is nothing else to be found there, except some camping facilities. It is a place almost untouched by human hand.

 

Within 10 minutes from Vlaherna (in Kanoni), you can visit the Mouse Island (Pontikonisi) that Corfu is so known of. You must have seen it in almost all postcards of the island!

 

As far as bigger journeys are concerned: You can visit some of the bigger islands surrounding Corfu such as the Diapontian Islands, the islands Paxoi – Antipaxoi and Kefallonia.

 

Ferries can also take you to mainland Greece (Igounenitsa or Patra) , to Albania and to Italy.
