Paramonas beach: Corfu Island in Greece

Paramonas is a small village situated on the middle-west coast of Corfu (Korfu) town, below the village of Agios Mattheos. It is made up of about thirty permanent residents. There you will find a beautiful sandy beach, with pebbles on the side surrounded by grey rocks and decorated with a few small rocky islands further out in the sea. It's equipped with sun beds, umbrellas, showers and a dressing area, all this to make their guests feel at ease. There's one hotel, a couple of taverns next to the beach and two snack bar restaurants.

Just 8 kilometres from Paramonas you will encounter the well-known Halikounas River. It's a beautiful sandy river that flows and intertwines with the ocean.

About 10 kilometres from Paramonas you will find Moraitika. It is a main tourist attraction: big hotels, shopping centers, souvenir shops, ATM machines, car and motorcycle rental offices, a taxi station, and best of all for you night life, Moraitika has a numerous amount of clubs and bars.
